TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO / WAWV) – Two men and a truck in Terre Haute helped transport food instead of furniture on Thursday.

The company brought in food donations from Indianapolis and delivered them to the Vigo County Salvation Army and the Loyal Veterans Battalion.

These organizations will work to distribute the food to families in need in Vigo County.

Travis Blaney, Terre Haute manager of two men and a truck, said this was an important service he could do for the community.

“Part of being, part of giving back to the community and being there is more than just having an address in Terre Haute,” said Blaney. “It’s actually about being a member of the community and doing things to help the community. This is always an important part for us. “

The truck brought over 11 pallets with 30 boxes each. Each box can feed a family of four for up to five days.
