SINGAPORE – Media OutReach – February 3, 2021 – The delivery boom in the pandemic has prompted iTask to set up its own delivery service called iTask Delivery.

The service market platform available in Singapore and Malaysia saw the number of on-board service providers increase by 62% over the past year, outperforming the same period in 2019.

In particular, delivery service providers grew by 9% compared to the period before COVID-19.

Deliver with ease

Using iTask Delivery is quick and easy. All users need to do is fill in their pickup and return and some additional details such as the type of item and its weight. A delivery person is then assigned to them.

There is also the option to schedule the pick-up on the date you want by choosing from three different periods of the day – morning, afternoon and evening.

From pickup to drop-off, users can check their booking status to see delivery progress. iTask also sends users constant notifications to keep them informed every step of the way.

Cheah noticed a growing interest in seeing Singaporeans buying cakes, cookies, and flowers for loved ones and decided to offer delivery for these items.
