Rotterdam woman paints bright future with furniture refurbishing business

ROTTERDAM, NY (NEWS10) – The painting became Kay Cox’s point of sale when her husband was deployed in Iraq. The Rotterdam resident was inspired to paint furniture after her mother mentioned that turning furniture was a popular trend in Britain at the time.

The painting became Kay Cox’s point of sale while her husband was employed abroad.

After selling some of the pieces during the flea market, she received requests for custom orders. Although she was nervous, she took a chance and the customer was delighted.
