Moving Precautions in a Pandemic

HOLLY SPRINGS, NC – A North Carolina-based moving company says customers are still calling even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Miracle Movers say business is only down 10 percent overall.

The company helped a family move into a new home in Holly Springs on Saturday.

Homeowner Greg Kline says buying a new home in a pandemic has been largely virtual to this day, but of course there was no way to physically move furniture from point A to B.

“We were very concerned about some parts, especially the moving parts. We are fortunate that the company moved at the last minute as all other options were no longer available,” said Kline.

Miracle Movers has asked its staff to wear masks and is advising customers that they can postpone moving dates if they feel uncomfortable.

The employee temperatures are checked before the start of the shift.
