The machine that best combines flexibility and high productivity
Thanks to the four separate operating units (two upper and two lower), each part can be processed in just a few steps. In addition, the ability to process two overlapping parts at the same time also means that the production of symmetrical parts can be doubled.
A remarkable feature of the Morbidelli ux200d is the exclusive dowel unit with double variable axis that can be adjusted depending on the distance between the holes.
Features available across the range include the double automatic tool changer for the upper and lower electrospindles (to machine opposite sides of the panels at the same time) and the tool for custom Clamex connections.
Excellent workmanship is achieved by the five-axis, directly driven JQX spindle head (Just Quality eXtreme), which does not cause any vibrations even with large material removal at high speed – and by the high-performance drilling heads with RO.AX (rotoaxial spindle technology) spindles with speeds of up to 8000 rev / min
Cycle time optimization thanks to the shaped clamps
The design of the new clamps enables drilling and milling work also inside the clamp area. The Maestro CNC software is responsible for optimizing all processes in order to minimize the terminal switches.
Perfect drilling – the Ro.AX spindle
With the latest RO.AX technology (rotoaxial spindle technology) – the most efficient spindle on the market with speeds of up to 6000 rpm – backlash-free play can be ensured during machining. The robustness of the drill heads is evidenced by the reduced maintenance costs, which are five times lower than those imposed by most other machine manufacturers, says SCM.
The highly developed computer software that controls the drilling cycles and offers the possibility of automatically loading panels of any size offers further advantages.
