Several Norman companies have discounts, deals, and delivery services to make social distancing a little more enjoyable.
While their dining areas are closed to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, many local restaurants are still open offering specialties and groceries for pickup or delivery. Here are some unique offers to check out:
Buy a meal for a family in need
Callers can pledge any amount and Benvenutis Ristorante will compose a meal based on the nutritional value and number of family members. Meals will mostly go to elderly community members who cannot leave their homes, said Tarasina Compagni, the restaurant’s manager.

Decorate a donut
Hurts Donuts on Campus Corner has put together donut decoration kits with different types of frosting, candy, cereal, and sprinkles, as well as five donuts in different flavors. Kits start at $ 15 and can be pre-ordered by calling 405-885-4711, according to the shop’s Facebook page.
According to its Facebook page, Hurts also has a buy-one-get-one deal on donuts.

Although Guestroom Records is closed at its Main Street location until further notice, according to its website, records are still available for purchase and roadside delivery to those who live within 5 miles of the store.
Delivery is free for orders of USD 25 or more. The record store ships worldwide for free on orders over $ 25.
