Sometimes all you need to do is take a break. One way to do this even with a busy schedule is to take advantage of Walmart’s free roadside pick-up service to get your groceries and other merchandise without going to the store. Instead of rushing down the aisles and waiting at the cash register, you can spend your time with your feet on the couch or enjoy dinner with your family while someone else does the shopping for you.
Walmart offers free roadside pickup for most online orders. Simply place your order and choose when to pick it up. If you place your order by 3:00 p.m., you can pick up your order on the same day or choose a different day and time that is more convenient for you.
If you haven’t tried it out, here’s how to use the free pickup option. First, log into your Walmart account or create one if you haven’t already (it’s free!). Next, select “Pickup and Delivery” from the top left corner of the Walmart website. Once on the page, enter your address and select Pickup. Then reserve a pick-up time and put things in your shopping cart. You still get the same cheap prices you see in Walmart’s stores, and roadside pickup is completely free. There are no additional fees or costs.
Once your order is placed, a Walmart Certified Personal Shopper will do the in-store shopping for you and select the freshest items on your list. And when you arrive to be picked up, they bring your order straight to your car.
Of course, if you don’t even have time to drive to the store, you can choose to have your order delivered – and you don’t even have to be home at the time of delivery.
Yahoo Mail users can also use Walmart’s pickup and delivery services straight from their inbox. If you have a Yahoo email address once signed into your account, you’ll see a Walmart banner at the top of your inbox. Click the banner and look for everything you need: groceries, kitchen gadgets, cleaning supplies, housewares and more. You can gradually add things over time and place your order from your inbox when you’re ready.
When you want to save time doing the things you love or just need a break from the usual hustle and bustle, Walmart makes it easy for you to get your groceries faster.
