EV Proponent, Mike Albert Fleet Solutions, Reserves Units of the World’s First All-Electric Commercial Pickup, the Endurance™ From Lordstown Motors

CINCINNATI – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Mike Albert Fleet Solutions, a leading national fleet management company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, today announced another important step in its continued mission to help customers develop their fleets and improve their ROI with electric vehicles. Mike Albert Fleet Solutions has entered into an agreement with Lordstown Motors of Lordstown, Ohio to supply a significant amount of the Lordstown Endurance pickup model to customers who want more efficient, safer, and more productive work vehicles than the combustion engine truck.

“We are very excited about this new collaboration with EV manufacturer Lordstown Motors. Like us, they firmly believe that electric vehicles are the near and bright future for a growing number of commercial fleets. And Lordstown Motors has the perfect prototype to prove it. The Endurance pickup is truly “built for the job” as Lordstown Motors announces. The innovative all-electric in-wheel drive system with four hub motors and integrated software caught our attention and set Endurance apart from other EV pickups we’ve seen, “said Jeff Hart, President of Mike Albert Fleet Solutions.

“For many years we’ve been helping several of our coast-to-coast customers transition to electric cars and vans in industries such as car sharing, ridesharing, taxis, black cars, municipalities, transportation as a service and auto subscription services. And now that production of the Endurance is fully up and running within the next year, we look forward to helping our customers who need high-performing, smart, zero-emission, highly efficient, revenue-generating work vehicle fleets, ”said Hart.

Lordstown Motors is an Ohio-based fleet vehicle manufacturer founded with the goal of making Ohio’s Mahoning Valley and Lordstown, Ohio the epicenter of electric vehicle manufacturing. Endurance’s revolutionary use of an in-wheel motor is said to improve performance, efficiency and safety while significantly reducing the total cost of ownership. Lordstown will be the only full-size electric pickup truck manufacturer focused solely on the large commercial fleet market and is expected to be the first to bring the innovative hub motor design to the market.

“‘Ride with Lordstown’ is not just a company slogan or buzzword – it is a portrayal of a movement designed to strengthen the spirit of innovation in all of us,” said Steve Burns, CEO of Lordstown Motors. “The growth of this movement in Voltage Valley is based on prioritizing the needs of our partner community like Mike Albert Fleet Solutions, leading to the revitalization of sustainable electrical engineering for the region and beyond.”
