Eli Lilly, Prevail Therapeutics, Boeing – Tuesday’s Premarket Movers

Stock futures pointed to a rebound Tuesday after the S&P 500 fell for the fourth straight year.

Here are some of the top movers during Tuesday’s premarket trading.

1. Prevail Therapeutics PRVL | 86.08% increase

Stocks of Prevail Therapeutics (PRVL) – Get the report rose Tuesday after the gene therapy company agreed to be acquired by Eli Lilly (LLY) – Get the report for $ 1.04 billion.

Prevail is a New York-based company focused on gene therapy treatments for Parkinson’s disease.

2. Eli Lilly LLY | Plus 2.18%

Eli Lilly (LLY) – Get the report increased its profit guidance for 2020 and issued new guidance for the following year when a $ 1 billion deal to purchase Prevail Therapeutics was announced.

Eli Lilly said sales should be between $ 24.2 billion and $ 24.7 billion in 2020, an increase of $ 500 million from the previous forecast. Reported earnings are on the order of $ 6.28 to $ 6.48 per share, an increase of 8 cents per share.

3. Apple AAPL | 1.28% increase

Apple (AAPL) – Get the report Shares rose Tuesday following a report that the tech giant plans to significantly ramp up its iPhone manufacturing to meet the expected surge in demand in 2021.

4. Pinterest PINS | Plus 1.03%

5. Boeing BA | Plus 0.91%

Boeing (BA) – Get the report has expanded inspections of its newly produced 787 Dreamliner aircraft after a previously disclosed manufacturing defect was found in sections of the jet where the problem was not originally identified.
