DART Begins Grocery Pickup, Delivery Service For Paratransit Customers – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Area Rapid Transit paratransit drivers have expanded their grocery collection and delivery services for customers during the coronavirus outbreak.
The agency’s drivers collect groceries from the store and deliver them directly to the customer free of charge.

Paratransit drivers must place their orders directly with the grocery store and provide DART with information on the pick-up ID.
Customers who want to register or learn more about the service can call one of the DART Mobility Ambassadors at (214) 828-8588 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

While home accommodation orders remain in place and fewer customers take trains or buses, DART continues to branch out with community services.
DART recently partnered with Dallas ISD to deliver 4,500 meals per week to students and with the City of Dallas to distribute care packages to seniors participating in the Dallas Park and Recreation Active Senior Adult Program.
